The Botanic Gardens in Benowa is a peaceful haven with open spaces, quiet environments, and beautiful plants and trees. It offers visitors a chance to explore and learn about local Australian flora through informative signage and well-labeled plants. The gardens feature a boardwalk, lake, waterfalls, and native fruit tree walk, which makes it a perfect place for leisurely strolls or exercise. There are also plenty of benches and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot to relax or spend time with family and friends. The Botanic Gardens provide excellent facilities, including public toilets, a children's playground, a cafe, and an ice cream parlor. It's dog-friendly, with designated off-leash areas and separate spaces for relaxation, play, and picnics. The park is also wheelchair accessible, with ample parking spaces available.

You should first check with Gold Coast council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
